Prayer is an integral part of our lives and plays a major part of our selection of mares and stallions.
After the homework is done, we pray for guidance.
God has blessed us with some spectacular foals and we give Him all the honor and glory for our successes.
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. II Chron 7:14

Parvita, Holsteiner by Riverman out of a Carolus daughter (Capitol I / Coriolan).
She is a full sister to Hilltop Farm's Rivita. Parvita has multiple championships as a 3 year old and was the Reserve Grand Champion Cosequin Finals in 2003. She received a score of 85.4 from Judges Janet Brown and D. Riehl-Rodriguez.. Parvita has produced a foal, Chaviva, out of the world-renowned and successful KWPN Voltaire.Chaviva has been sold.
Pathriesja (aka Psalm) is a Ster Dutch by Don Primaire (Donnerhall / Pik Bube) out of dam Etrichta, out of one of the best mare lines in Holland.
Psalm is also the dam of our breeding stallion Freedomhall (Festrausch/FlorestanI). Both of her foals possess temperments that are 10 plus, as well as top qualities for conformation and movement!! Psalm was re-bred to Sure Hit in 2006. Sure Hit's website is www.shannondale.com.

Serengetti, black filly by Starlight out of "Willow", Wolkentanz II daughter.

Stellar Hit was Reserve Grand Champion of the show with a score of 84.2.
She received the
Young Horse Championship.
Stella in 2008 Stellar Hit has had a 2009 foal by Quaterback called Tebow.
Stellar Hit, aka Stella, is in foal to Rousseau for 2010!
Quaterback x Stellar Hit - colt, Quintessential Hit. His barn name is 'Tebow'.
The sire, Quaterback, is a German National Champion. His dam, Stellar Hit (Stella), is by Sandro Hit (also a German National Champion). Stella's dam is by Wolkentanz II out of
a Donnerhall daughter/PikBube.
Both Quintessential Hit, by Quarterback x Stellar Hit, and Serengetti, by Starlight x Wochenshow, received Premium Foal and Foal of Distinction awards.
In addition, both mares are Premium and received "Mare of Distinction" awards as well. It was unusual for the Oldenburg inspectors to have three generations presented at one inspection: Quintessential Hit out of Stellar Hit out of Wochenshow — son, mother and grandmother all at the same inspection. The inspectors made some very nice comments about the quality of the mares and their foals and appreciated being able to see them all together.
I really had not given this much thought until Chris Hutchings brought it up. My thinking is always to breed in such a way as to "improve upon the improvement" and in this case, it certainly was the result I had hoped for and more!!
Next year we are expecting the two half sisters, Stellar Hit and Royal Elegance (both out of Wochenshow), to present their offspring at the 2010 Oldenburg inspection. Stella (Stellar Hit) is in foal to Rousseau and Elle (Royal Elegance) is in foal to Voltaire. This will be another opportunity to see how Wochenshow breeds on in her two daughters.
